Dr. Brenda Malik

Dr. Brenda Malik taught mathematics in elementary schools and middle schools for 26 years. She held leadership positions as grade level chairperson, middle school math contact person, and part time math coach. At every school in which she worked, Dr. Malik galvanized teachers to attend local and national mathematics conferences. She pioneered using manipulatives and technology tools from calculators to Promethean Boards. Dr. Malik was the first mathematics teacher in Atlanta Public Schools to earn National Board Certification in Early Adolescent Mathematics.
